Wing Commander Fleming (Serial # 120937) was from Newboro, ON and was killed 8 March 1952 at age 30. He was the son of John Clinton and Alethea Clara Fleming of Port Credit, Ontario. He was the brother of John P. Fleming and Alethea Mary Dodge.

W/C Fleming was killed when his Vampire aircraft was in a mid-air collision with a Vampire flown by F/O Yeates near Aurora,ON.

W/C Fleming was a member of the RCAF during the Second World War and was the Squadron CO. His citations included: 1939-1945 Star, Air Crew Europe Star, France -Germany Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-1945, Mention-in-Dispatches, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal (CVSM)

W/C Fleming is buried in Park Lawn Cemetery in Toronto
