Pilot Officer Faunt (Serial # J8944) was from MacLeod, AB and was killed 25 May 1942 at age 26. He was the son of Joseph T. Faunt and Mildred Margaret Faunt, of Winterburn, Alberta, Canada.

P/O Faunt was killed when his Tomahawk aircraft went into a spin at 400 feet and then crashed and burned five miles west of Turnbridge Wells, England.
