P/O Cosoff was killed when his Mosquito aircraft (MM277) endeavoured to overshoot after the initial approach to land and crashed on the airfield at RAF Station Odiham, Hampshire, England.

F/L Alexander (pilot) and an RAF member of the ground crew, on the ground, were also killed.

Pilot Officer Cosoff (Serial # 185455) was the son of Issac and Ida Cosoff, of Montreal, Province of Quebec, Canada.

He is commemorated on Page 280 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance.
