WILBUR JOHN "BILL" HUMPHREY April 15, 1932 - February 19, 2013
At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Bill Humphrey in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Joan Humphrey. Dear father of Rick Humphrey and Susan Humphrey (David). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Emily and Alexandra. Dear brother of Gordon Humphrey (Fairlie). Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Bill was 400 Squadron RCAF Chief Warrant Officer. He was Chief Warrant Officer, 2 Air Reserve Wing and retired as Group Chief Warrant Officer Air Reserve Group. In his civilian job, Bill was the Detachment Commander, 305 Canadian Forces Technical Services Detachment, Department of National Defence.
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday February 21st from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the Chapel on Friday February 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. Cremation with interment of cremated remains at St. Margaret in the Pines Cemetery. Memorial donations to the R.S. MCLaughlin Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
