Saturday June 22, 2013 began, and ended, with a fair dose of "Newfoundland Sunshine" which made for limited use of the outdoor patio ... except for the hard core smokers.

Despite the inclement weather, we had a sufficient number attending to break even ... just. It costs $250.00 to rent the hall.

The extensive videos on the History Hangar were played throughout the day over the large screen TV and Carl Mills came with the original 400 Squadron Standard he rescued from Sunnybrook Hospital. This provided an excellent photo opportunity for all attending to record this historical artifact of the squadron before it was permanently "laid up" in the Hall of Honour at the Beechwood Cemetary (the National Military Cemetery) in Ottawa.
